The Joy of Soy Tofu Cooking Class
An extremely versatile, healthy, and high source of protein, the soft white blocks made from curdled soybean milk can be enjoyed an endless number of ways by vegans, vegetarians, and carnivores alike. Join Ben Pao’s executive chef Jim Hoveke as he demonstrates how to prepare a variety of dishes displaying the many delicious and nutritious benefits that tofu has to offer.
For an additional cost, and based on availability, special guest Jenny Yang, owner of Phoenix Bean, one of Chicago’s first and most respected tofu manufacturers, will be on hand to answer questions and provide a variety of tofu samples.
